I love this family!  They are so down to earth and just the kind of people you want to have as friends.  I had a blast with them on their amazing farm. Here are a few of my favorites from the day...

Exploring {Woman Lake Photographer}

Nora's smile is just contagious -- her whole face smiles!  She loves to explore and her mom will have to stay on her toes to keep up with her.  I loved spending time with her!

It's a tradition.  Taking the kids to the lake for some great outdoor time.  This family knows how to have fun together--even if the lake is still really cold!  Their energy is contagious and I loved spending time with them.

This little guy is the sweetest!  I know he wasn't so sweet to his mom before he was born though!  Good thing he is so adorable and absolutely worth it.  Aidric's big sister is pretty excited about him too.  What a beautiful family.

What an incredible little boy.  Caden already has his own little timetable for everything.  He decided to be a week late on his arrival and the day I met him, he decided he just wasn't very tired at all!  Even though he wasn't sleepy, he was adorable!

After a little bit of rocking, this sweet baby was sound asleep. She is just precious with a load of dark hair!

Brenda and Jeff had a perfect day for their wedding.  The sun was shining and the temperature was just right.  Their wedding took place in Brenda’s mom’s beautiful backyard with their friends and family all gathered around them.  It was fantastic!  Thank you Brenda and Jeff for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

I was able to meet this beautiful little girl the day after she was born and still in the hospital!  Her big brother could hardly wait for her to come home.

shoot, shoot, shoot

Shooting is exactly what the students at  Lincoln Street Music Studio Summer Camp will be doing in July. They will be holding a fantastic summer camp for kids and I'll be teaching the digital photography!  I'm very excited to be able to work with the staff at Lincoln Street Music Studio and all the kids.  The digital photography camp will have kids taking lots of pictures with their own point and shoot cameras and learning about different ways to look at everyday objects.  We'll also be using our cameras to make our photos of family and friends look great!  I can hardly wait to see all the great photos the kids take.  Go sign your child up for camp at Lincoln Street Music Studio!  See you there!


You don't have to have a big 'ole camera for good photos.  Knowing how to use different angles for pictures can make an okay picture look so much better.  Here are a few from my little 'ole camera.  

kate & will

Pink.  Dresses.  Headbands.  Ruffles.  All things that don't even exist in my house...and weren't around in Will's house until just a couple months ago.  Will got a new sister!  Kate came around and turned his world of trucks upside down.  There's even a little bit of pink now for Will--do you see the matching tie and headband?  Now THAT is impressive! 
I loved meeting Kate and had fun playing Where's the Easter Bunny with Will.  What a beautiful family!

Ahh...flip flops... I've been waiting all winter to be able to wear them again. Our family piled in the family roadster and drove (yes, drove!) from Ankeny, Iowa to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for Spring Break. We made it after 84 (or so) movies in the dvd player. It was worth it. My sister and her kids drove there from North Carolina to meet us and I have never heard so much giggling from the cousins. What a great way to spend Spring Break - at the beach with family.

What a sweetie. Nora is about eight weeks old and is just as sweet as can be--I'm sure she got it from her parents! She's just starting to smile and it can just make you melt. She definitely has her parents wrapped around her finger!

bennett

I feel so lucky that I was able to meet Bennett just six days after he came into this world. He is just perfect in every way! He is a beautiful addition to the family and his sister Mya is ready to be a fantastic big sister. Thank you for allowing me to share this special time with your family -- I loved it!
