Things are falling. Temperatures, leaves and records. I'm talking about the new record for the loudest five and eight year old boys in the United States. Possibly the world. And they're mine. These two "loud talkers" love being outdoors so I dragged them away from their soccer balls, bikes and scooters to take photos. They both did their best to be as goofy as possible. I just love 'em!
I just love Kyler's rooster tail-it's always sticking up!
Kaeden has this little grin on his face a lot. He's always up to something...

carson
What a gorgeous evening! Carson braved the swarms of mosquitoes (I think he outran them!) and we had a great time. We threw rocks in the pond, played on the slide and climbed on big rocks. What more could a four-year-old ask for? Well...maybe not so many mosquito bites! I still had a lot of fun. Thanks, Carson!

boys
To my great surprise, my sons asked me to take their pictures. Did I just hear you right?! I usually have to BEG for a picture from them and then I get lots of groaning. Not this time! It was great!
Not that every picture was easy..... Kaeden learned to cross his eyes recently and he thinks it's hilarious. I'm so proud. :)

Ice
Since we moved "south" to Iowa, I truly believed that this winter would be a little easier. Milder. Warmer than North Dakota. :) This winter has been anything but easy. Lots of snow, cold temperatures, many missed days of school and ICE. This last ice storm caused lots of problems, but the ice really was beautiful.
